Welcome to APEI’s Online Training Center for Municipal Members
Alaska Public Entity Insurance (APEI) offers online training for our municipal members through the online training platform, Lexipol. Lexipol has hundreds of Risk Management courses geared towards public entities including topics on Safety, Human Resources and Management, and many other Risk Management subjects. This comprehensive web-based training is available to APEI’s municipal members at no charge.
The Lexipol training program is broken down into three main platforms that APEI members can take advantage of: PoliceOne Academy for law enforcement departments, FireRescue1 for fire and EMS departments, and LocalGovU for all municipal workers. You can find the current course catalogs for each platform by clicking here. Click below to review the current course catalogs:
How to Access the Training
All APEI municipal and fire department members have access to this training. To start taking courses, click the “Sign In” link below to log into your existing user account.
Administrators: Each APEI member has one or more designated administrators who are responsible for setting up user access for their employees. Administrator requests for training access will be granted once their account has been verified, usually within 24 to 48 hours. A LocalGovU Customer Success representative will reach out to assist you with set-up once your account has been verified. LocalGovU will also assist you in adding additional personnel to this account, and courses will be made available to all users listed. Account administrators will have access to run reports, create assignments, and more!
User registration: If you are a user who does not have an account already established, contact the administrator for your organization for access setup. Cole Cummins can help you out if you don’t know who that is.
If you need assistance, call 866-845-8887, or email Lexipol at firstname.lastname@example.org. A Customer Success representative is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST (5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Alaska time) and can assist with any questions about the program or technical issues.
