Local Government Insurance Trust is committed to excellence in local government. We strive to be an essential local government resource for employee safety education and risk management services. Without a doubt, training is essential to loss control, employee development, and risk management. As such, LGIT is very pleased to offer online training through the LGIT’s Online Campus. This program offers a number of online courses, many of which are written specifically for local governments and governmental agencies. This training program is designed to provide LGIT members increased training flexibility. Therefore, online courses are available 24/7 from any computer with internet access. Equally important, this online training is offered at no added cost to members. Each member is allowed 12 courses per employee per fiscal year. If an employee exceeds this limit, they will be charged at the current rate for any additional courses taken beyond the allotted 12.

Learning Administrators: If you are your organization’s designated learning administrator, and you have an existing account, and you and your organization’s employee have already been provided access credentials, then your organization is ready to participate. As the learning administrator you may assign courses individually or by department, run completion reports, and much more. Each member is allowed 12 courses per employee per fiscal year.
