Welcome to MPR Online University

Midwest Public Risk (MPR) offers web-based, online training programs designed specifically for public entities. Missouri members participating in the Liability and Workers’ Comp pools and Kansas members participating in the Liability pool are eligible to utilize these programs at no charge.

Available Courses


More than 50 of the courses offered qualify for Missouri POST certified law enforcement training credit and Kansas C-POST also recognizes courses for continuing education credit with the approval of your training officer.

We hope you find utilizing this quality training to be a beneficial and convenient e-learning experience. Courses are available anytime, from any computer with internet access. Simply log in to access your training. Once you have passed a course, you may print a certificate of completion.

Need to Register?


If you do not have an account already established for your yourself or your entity, please click here to request access to the training platform. Requests for training access will be granted once your account has been verified, usually within 24 to 48 hours. A LocalGovU Customer Success representative will reach out to connect once your account has been verified.

LocalGovU will also assist you in adding additional personnel to this account, and courses will be made available to all users listed. Account administrators will have access to run reports, create assignments and more!
