Welcome to the LWMMI University

The League of Wisconsin Municipalities (LWMMI) has partnered with Lexipol to provide self-paced online courses written specifically for local government and public safety professionals. Courses are available on demand from any computer or mobile device with internet access 24/7.

For our members, the LWMMI University offers all employees access to over 200 online training topics ranging from HR & Management, Safety, Public Works, Law Enforcement, and much more.

For Water and Wastewater, the LWMMI University courses can be used to fulfill required hours of annual training requirements. Wastewater professionals will simply need to submit their certificate of course completion directly to the DNR for training approval.

For law enforcement, the LWMMI Police University can be used to fulfill 8 of the 24 hours of annual training requirements with Department level approval.

How to Access the Training

Need to Register?

If you do not have an account already established for your yourself or your entity, please click here to request access to the LWMMI University. Sworn law enforcement click here to request access to the LWMMI Police University. Requests for training access will be granted once your account has been verified, usually within 24 to 48 hours. A Lexipol Customer Success representative will reach out to connect once your account has been verified.

LocalGovU will also assist you in adding additional personnel to this account, and courses will be made available to all users listed. Account administrators will have access to run reports, create assignments and more!
