The Pool is committed to excellence in local government. We strive to be an essential local government resource for employee safety education and risk management services. Without a doubt, training is essential to loss control, employee development, and organizational professionalism. As such, The Pool is very pleased to offer online training through the Local Government Risk Academy. This program offers a number of online courses, many of which are written specifically for local governments and governmental agencies. This training program is designed to provide Pool members increased training flexibility. Therefore, online courses are available 24/7 from any computer with internet access. Equally important, this online training is offered at no added cost to members. Also, the supplied 87 course hours can be used towards meeing 24 of your 40 hour TN POST continuing education requirements.

Need to Register?
If you do not have an account already established for your yourself or your entity, please click here to request access to the training platform. Requests for training access will be granted once your account has been verified, usually within 24 to 48 hours. A LocalGovU Customer Success representative will reach out to connect once your account has been verified.
LocalGovU will also assist you in adding additional personnel to this account, and courses will be made available to all users listed. Account administrators will have access to run reports, create assignments and more!
