Wastewater Online Training for Local Government Professionals
LocalGovU offers eLearning courses designed for water professionals to satisfy continuing education requirements to renew their licenses. Students finishing each course will receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) based on the number of contact hours. These courses cover a wide range of topics including water treatment, wastewater, distribution, collections, and industrial wastewater courses.
LocalGovU is accredited to provide the following Water & Wastewater courses:
- Colorado * – Can fulfill requirements in the following categories: 17 hours for Water, 11 hours for Wastewater, 17 hours for Industrial, 24 hours for Water Distribution, 22 hours for Collection, and 23 hours for Supplemental training.
- Missouri– Missouri water and wastewater certified operators who complete our water industry-related topics, may provide the Missouri Department of Natural Resources a copy of certificates of completion and additional information for their review and consideration.
- North Carolina – Lexipol, LocalGovU is a North Carolina approved wastewater continuing education provider offering up to 35.5 hours of continuing education that can be used to fulfill the 6-hour continuing education requirement for renewal wastewater certifications. LocalGovU will submit completed hours to the North Carolina Operator Certification Program within 2 weeks of course completion.
- Wisconsin – Lexipol, LocalGovU can be used to fulfill required hours of annual training requirements. Wastewater professionals in Wisconsin will then need to take their LocalGovU certificate of course completion and submit it directly to the DNR for training approval.
